Jason and Julia's Kitten Zeus
Recently our Bengal kitten 'Zeus' developed inflammatory bowel disease. Zeus endured 2 months of tests by the local vet costing over $2000, including invasive biopsies of the stomach and bowel. We followed the vets advice regarding diet and had him on prescription food - all to no avail. The vet actually recommended we euthanize Zeus as his health was deteriorating rapidly and he was not responding to medication. The vet assumed a more severe condition - but final tests of the biopsies showed a mild inflammatory condition of the stomach.
In desperation my husband and I started researching inflammatory bowel disease on the net and refused to give up on Zeus. Almost all websites indicated a raw diet was the best for a cat with this condition so we decided to give B.A.R.F. a go.
To our relief Zeus's condition markedly improved within days and he has now made a great recovery and is back to his old mischievous self. We believe this is solely due to the raw diet. Thank you Dr. B for giving us a healthy active kitten again.
