Weaner

A very convenient, highly nutritious formula, which can be fed as an all-in-one diet. This diet is especially recommended for the ‘Active” and “Large” breed dogs.

This formula with its All Natural raw ingredients provides excellent levels of Vitamins, Minerals and Essential Fatty Acids. Weaner also contains Crushed Bone, so your dogs will be receiving a good, readily available, digestible form of Natural Calcium.

Weaner is a high-energy diet (21% fat), therefore it is advised that you monitor your dogs weight regularly, and especially when this diet is initially introduced. In the first week of feeding, you should record the amount of meat given daily and it is advised that you weigh the dog every day. Simply adjust the amount of ‘Weaner’ being fed until your dogs weight has stabilized. As a guide you can initially start feeding your dog at the following amounts – 20grams of Weaner for every 1kg of dog. This should be used as a guide only, as there will be differences between each individual dog. This is simply because each dog has a different metabolism, and this will determine their requirements.

An example would be for a 30kg dog, you would initially feed him 600grams of Weaner for the day. Monitor the dogs weight daily and adjust accordingly.
