Twenty years ago, on September 26, Big Dog was born!

We attended our first Dog Lovers Festival!

Big Dog started exporting to Taiwan with one container per year.
And now...5 countries...tonnes of food... container loads monthly!
2013
Our Big Dog boxes kept evolving.
2015
Big Dog was growing, and Chris was featured in the Brisbane Times.
2016
Since 2016, we have been supporters of Smart Pups and have remained involved with the company ever since. Big Dog contributes a weekly donation of over 300kg of food to nourish dogs through their customised training programs and support the life-changing work of this extraordinary charity.
2017
Chris's sons have always been around but officially joined the business in 2017!

We released our first Big Dog probiotics!
2020
Big Dog hit the big TWO-ZERO! After 20 years, our brand is ranged in over 800 stores across Australia.
2021
Big Dog grows to a team of 57 staff!

Australia’s freshest just got fresher. Check it out!
2023
We outgrew our factory in Lawnton, so made the move to our new factory in Narangba! We even got robots to streamline our processes.
2024
Released exciting new products! Nourish Nutrition, Wild and Free and Raw Bites!
We are a team of 80 staff members, and producing on average 6,710,160kg of food per year...and counting!
