How did you hear about raw feeding?

I heard about raw feeding from an online Rottweiler forum. I put up a post about Caesar’s allergies and had an overwhelming response telling me to switch his diet from kibble to Raw.

Even though one of Bodhi’s owners grew up on a property with working dogs (who were primarily fed raw food), I believe articles on social media were probably what contributed to us going back to basics and feeding a diet that dogs would naturally eat in the wild. It just made sense.

What are some noticeable changes you’ve seen in your pet after switching to a raw diet?

Howard has lost weight and actually eats his food when it is out down. Doesn’t let it sit there all day! Ned’s poo’s are firmer and don’t smell AT ALL!

Energy levels definitely improved, people started asking whether he had just been washed (when he hadn’t been) because his coat always shines, and a raw food diet seems to sustain him a lot longer than any dry food did.

The changes have been amazing! We noticed his skin and coat health have improve immensely! He has higher energy levels and has even lost weight.

Although we’ve only been on Big Dog for a short time I’ve noticed significant improvements within Oakley. The major one being a boost in energy & stamina! Followed by skin improvement & hair regrow, and non-stinky breath.

The biggest difference is how his body digests and absorbs the raw food. He has more consistent energy level, less wastage (poos) and shine in his coat.

Rascal truly thrives on a raw diet. I’ve noticed his energy levels increase, his coat get more soft and shiny (definitely no ‘dog’ smell), his teeth have never been cleaner and his overall well-being has improved tremendously.

The best thing about a raw diet would have to be the fact that I actually don’t have to wash Caesar as often. His coat would have a certain dirty smell and feel to it constantly but since switching to Raw, the smell is gone and his coat is smooth, soft and shiny.

Convenient little sachets, food isn’t sitting out all day, I know the boys are getting the best and feeling their best!

No sloppy poops, easy to chuck in a dish for dinner with how it’s packed! Also easy storage in the freezer. Doesn’t take up much space :)

My favourite thing is that it’s so easy to work with. I store the patties in the freezer, so every morning and night I get how many patties I need and then leave in the fridge to thaw out. But this isn’t my only favourite thing. What goes in must come out. Yes I’m talking about the amount of POO Kaos and Mayhem create. You can imagine how much POO 💩 we have in our backyard. Well Big Dog Pet Foods have decreased the amount we have to pick up. Their POOS are smaller & seriously not as smelly.
